To manually uninstall the OSCE client: Log on to the client computer using an account with Administrator privileges. Go/Switch to Desktop Mode. Right-click the OfficeScan client icon on the system tray and select Unload OfficeScan. Is there a Trend Micro uninstaller that works? I am not trying to be insulting on this. I just occasionally have a computer where Trend Micro does not uninstall correctly and then I have to manually dig through the registry and computer to delete traces of it in order to get it to install. Manually Uninstalling the Trend Micro Client
Scope:
Use these instructions to manually uninstall the Trend Micosystems client if other methods fail. Use the method in this document as a last resort. 7 Steps total Step 1: Stop the following services:
Officescan NT Realtimescan
Officescan NT Listener
Officescan NT Firewall (if enabled)
Officescan NT Proxy Service Step 2: Run regedit.exe
Locate and then delete the following keys belonging to the following: (Always create a backup before modifying the registry) HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetServices:
Ntrtscan
Tmcfw
TmFilter
Tmlisten
TmPfw
TmPrefilter (for Windows 2003)
TmProxy
VsapiNt Step 3: HKLMSoftwareTrendMicro (or HKLMSoftwareWow6432NodeTrendMicro for 64-bit clients):
OfcWatchDog
Pc-cillinNT Corp or OfficescanCorp (depending on client)

I was searching for a way to script a mass-uninstall to domain machines (which is really only designed to be done from the officescan console)... and there is a totally undocumented uninstall command that I found on some chinese site. If you execute 'programfilesTrend MicroOfficeScan Clientntrmv' with a -311 switch... regardless of whether you had setup an uninstall password or not, trend is removed.

I have had to manually remove Trend 10 from my virtual servers running on Virtual Iron after upgrading to Officescan 10, tmcomm.sys keeps BSOD my servers!!!
